 Hello, everyone!   How was your summer vacation this year? Did you have a good time? I was planning to go to Korea with my friends, but I couldn't because of COVID-19. That's too bad... Hi, everyone!   First semester is almost over. Time flies so fast. I could never go to campus in this semester, so I was very bored... Today, I would like to talk about my summer break and next semester. I have a lot of things I want to do during my summer vacation. First, I was planning to go to Korea with my friends. However, we probably won't be able to do that, so I decided to try to learn Korean instead. I bought the textbook in this spring and never used it...  Hello, everyone!   Today I would like to look back on the life of this semester. These four months went by so fast. At first, I was very nervous because this was my first experience of online classes. I have many worries for example, how to use zoom, how to submit the assignment, etc. However, I got used to them now. Being able to study everyday with native teachers is a great advantage. I studied English while using Japanese with a Japanese teacher in high school, so I was anxious at first. However, speaking and listening to English everyday eased my tension. Hi, Everyone! The rainy season has started recently and it is raining every day... I'm a little depressed. However, hydrangea is beautiful!   My favorite holiday is Respect for the Aged Day. My maternal grandparents live in my neighborhood, so we often go out and eat dinner together. They used to live in  Saitama, but they moved to Ibaraki a few years ago. I often went to Saitama to meet them when I was young. I'm happy to be able to go to there again to attend university as a college student! My grandparents always support me.   Hi, everyone. Have you ever interacted with foreign high school students? When I was in high school, I went to Taiwan on a school trip and interacted with students from three high schools. At the first school, we could play sports and get to experience being a flight attendant. At the second school, we could get to experience cooking, nail art and costume design. At the third school, we could cook and dance. I chose the second school and made dumplings. I had made them before, but the authentic dumplings were difficult to wrap because the way of wrapping was a little different. However, Taiwanese students kindly taught me how to do it. The taste was very good! After that, we went to some places where Taiwanese students recommended and did some shopping. I was very happy to have the experience as if I were living in Taiwan.  Hi, everyone! Today, I'm going to talk about food. I love eating, so I have many favorite food. I usually eat vegetables and I like tomatoes the most. My favorite tomato dish is gnocchi. I had made it before and it's very easy. Processed gnocchi is sale so you can use them. It's more delicious if you eat it with cheese.
